During the Tibnin Cultural Day in #Lebanon, @unifil_official engaged community members in a cultural exchange by cooking and sharing food from their cultures. Peacekeepers from #Ireland🇮🇪, #Malaysia🇲🇾, #Italy🇮🇹, #Poland🇵🇱, #France🇫🇷 and #SouthKorea🇰🇷 shared traditional Malaysian assam laksa, Italian spaghetti, French crepes, and more with Lebanese community members who brought kibbeh, fatoush, tabouleh and other delicious goods 😋. The cultural event mirrors a custom common throughout the Middle East and Europe, where communities share bread 🍞 and salt🧂 with one another, reinforcing existing friendships and building new ones.
