Here is the big misconception about working out and losing weight!
People think you need to be in a caloric deficit while you are working out to lose weight.
I offer an analogy:
Think about your body like a house.
But your house is barebones, maybe just the land and we need to build the foundation and everything from scratch.
Think of your exercise as your foundation and nutrition as your brick and mortar.
You need brick and mortar to build your house but you have none because you keep starving yourself to be in a caloric deficit.
You continue to workout and your house craves more brick and mortar, but you don’t give it any.
Your house will not get built.
You see this is what so many people do.
Countless times I have met people in my career that came to me with this same exact method to losing weight and they had been in a plateau and even gained weight over the years.
Dumbfounded because they had been in the gym 5-6 days a week and were eating so little!
As soon as I have them eat more, not just anything, but more food to fit their bodies requirements and provided them with an excellent routine they FINALLY started to lose weight!
It’s the breaking of these old molds that must be done.
Stop following old and broken methods that don’t work. Starving yourself will of course initially get you to lose weight, because, well, you’re starving yourself.
Your body will adjust to that very quickly and then you’re in trouble.
DM me if you are tired of doing all of this work and starving yourself and getting no results.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS HARD.

Tyler
