#PRIDE ? 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸 Even during a special month that champions visibility for under-resourced communities, societal acceptance for one’s beliefs, and an acceptance of love in all forms—one that is so important to many individuals including myself—we simply can’t ignore the fact that it’s all being threatened by our very own government. Showing once more that they want to assume complete control over the bodies and minds of Americans across the nation. From the Supreme Courts decision to end the nationwide right to abortion to a possible reconsideration of contraception, same-sex relationships + marriages—this must end. There’s no mistaking that it’s hard to sit idle while the structure of society around us is crumbling—and that’s why one should always use the power of their voice before that gets taken away too. Although it can be difficult to educate oneself properly on what’s been happening, we must all try.
