Ever have a natural level 7 or lighter that you spend hours foiling and then blowdry and it looks like you did absolutely nothing?! Been there🙋🏼♀️ Here’s why that might be happening:
1️⃣ Weave size: tiny little microscopic weaves blend right into naturally light hair. Do some slices or take a chunkier weave!
2️⃣ Contrast: add some lowlights so the blonde has something to pop against!
3️⃣ Root melt: Go a smidge darker than the natural for some contrast at the roots. I used @wellahairusa Color Touch 7/1, 5/1 and 6/0. (This especially applies if you’re creating a lived in look).
I talk more about this on my education platform Blonde Chronicles University!! BCU currently has over 100 tutorials with new content added weekly. The tutorials vary in length from 20-90 minutes and cover tons of topics including color techniques, business building, hair cutting, social media, extensions, color theory and so much more! It’s $15/month to subscribe (6 month minimum requirement) and you can click the link in my bio to learn more!
