Saturn
8th July - Early morning
(x4000 frames, best 15% stacked)
My second time imaging this other giant of our Solar System. Really starting to understand the need for A LOT of data to really resolve features and reduce noise. Obviously quality of data is imperative, but then I think volume! Then you have the ability to select a much smaller percentage of the very best frames to stack. Something like that anyways 🤣
Really happy with the banding I managed to capture, aswell as my clearest Cassini Division yet! (The name for the dark region between the brightest rings of Saturn). Focus has alot to improve but I will keep practising for when those darker nights are upon us 🙏🏽
Here's to lots more quality data!!!
