What to do on our last day in Kakdu???
Jim Jim Falls was a must. Dave was loving the 4WDing along the coordinated red dirt road, he having fun getting the Jeep in and out of ruts and sandy tracks.
Once arrived it was a good hike through stunning forest as you climbed over large rocks and boulders.
You arrive at Jim Jim falls surrounded be 150 metre high cliffs, a sandy beach and the deepest, large plunge pool I have ever seen.
It was spectacular. If we can handle it, we would love to come back during the wet season to see waterfall flowing.
We feel like Kakdu will always be with us now. It captures your heart and leaves a lasting impression on your soul.
We are truly grateful to be on this adventure seeing such stunning parts of Australia and learning more about our first nation peoples.
Thank you Kakadu. We will be back!
