Top Gun: Maverick (2022) Review
●
This is what blockbusters should be. The aerial stunts are insane, but it also has a big bleeding heart with commendable performances, backed up by an intelligent script, gorgeous stylistic choices, and all-around prestige in every single technical aspect strumming chords of harmonic notes to create cinematic gold. It's visceral, it's scary, all thanks to Tom Cruise's knack for practical filmmaking. He really should team up with Christopher Nolan. Great minds that think alike can achieve wonders when combined. But Hollywood is definitely going to learn the wrong lesson from this movie.

I know I am extremely late to the party so I will not even bother asking. It earned more than $1B worldwide and it wholeheartedly deserves the staggering amount of love and hype for it. What did you think about Top Gun: Maverick? Comment your two cents below.

Today on back to school - we’re looking at legendary advertising & fashion photographer Albert Watson.
Born in Edinburgh in 1942, Watson was born to a working class family in the suburbs of the city. After studying graphic design and working in the field for a time, Watson and his wife Elizabeth moved to the US. It was here where Watson began photographing for fun, eventually catching the eye of an art director friend who offered him his first paid shoot for his agency.
Watson’s now iconic style was immediately popular and within a year Watson had shot one his most famous images for Harper’s Bazaar - Alfred Hitchcock holding a Christmas goose.
