Thank you, @sainsburys for wrecking our wedding.
Two orders placed during the 25% off 6 bottles of wine deal. Cancelled 3 hours before delivery without explanation. Customer Service gave 2 different reasons on 2 different calls.
Firstly, said only 1 order per household per day - so why does your website not automatically decline a second order and why isn't this stated?
Secondly, said orders were for sparkling wines only (nope, there were several alcohol free items in there, too). Apparently, policy to cancel any alcohol only orders. Again, not mentioned on website, and no restrictions when ordering, other than a 36 bottle limit.
Couldn't anyone with any sense realise that these were orders for a celebration and maybe just think to call the customer to verify rather than arbitrarily cancelling the orders?
I think you just didn't have the stock you advertised.
