✨ This project is heading fast towards the finish line! And I am so excited for it! I have done a lot of additional work to the body, correcting some proportional errors like the outline of the raised section in grey, adding in important lines like the rim at the bottom of the body, and of course adding in a lot of little details like handrails, door handles, rain gutters, windscreen wipers and so on and so forth. Feel free to compare the pictures with my last post about this locomotive to see everything that happened. During this step of creating the model modifiers also proofed to be useful in some cases. So, I created the rain gutters as flat planes and added in the thickness automatically. But most of the detail work had to be done by hand. It is not particularly difficult but does require a good portion of time and patience. And with that I call the body mostly finished minus the decals, of course. Therefore, the next two steps are to continue work on the undercarriage as well as the roof furniture and last but certainly not least to create the logos and lettering for the locomotive!
