This weeks Friday Feature is about Jennifer Appoo, a Seychellois marine scientist who is currently doing her PhD at the University of Reunion. Her research is investigating the extent to which mangrove-nesting seabirds mediate nutrient cycling into marine ecosystems around islands. Jennifer has an incredible work history already under her belt, notably playing key conservation roles on the iconic islands of Aldabra in Seychelles and Round Island in.
