An 'exceptional symbol of reliance and aspirational India', INS Vikrant was commissioned into the Navy in a ceremony at the Cochin Shipyard. Vikrant, India's first indigenous aircraft carrier was commissioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other defence dignitaries.
