Love a holiday brunch!
The farmer went in straight in for the 'Full Scottish Breakfast
bacon, sausages, eggs, haggis, black pudding, mushrooms, potato scone, beans & toast'.
I had 'Pancakes & Bacon
with maple syrup and candied walnuts' ...just noticed there were supposed to be walnuts!
Both dishes were tasty although the bacon was overcooked and I do prefer my bacon crispy but this was just a step too far! Still tasted good.
Also the potato scone was really oily and inedible unfortunately.
The pancakes were good but just too big! Felt like a waste leaving so much.
