A few months ago we shot 2 videos back to back with @maggierogers during her spring break from Harvard. For this one we wanted to make a video that captured the feral energy of the song and her performance in the tiniest sweatiest karaoke room in Ktown, and shoot it on film. It was also the shortest shoot ever done because the room was booked that evening so we had to jump in and jump out before the karaoke crowd arrived. When my friend @abiraymaker asked me be featured on @jadeddigital, I said, “Sure, of course!” It’s a new magazine that celebrates Asian artists around the world, and I’m all for that. THEN… as the shoot date approached I thought, “Oh shit. I realized… I hate being on the other side of the camera.
