Continuing with the Canon FD test info - we now come to the Canon FD L series. These should effectively be the same lenses as S.S.C. Asphericals mentioned previously, but FD L lenses generally cost much less than the Asphericals. Of course 50mm F1.2 L (shown here) is not the same as 55mm F1.2 Aspherical, but 85mm F1.2 (also shown) & 24mm F1.4 (couldn’t get one in time) should be more or less the same. So, if Canon FD L were as good as the S.S.C. Asphericals, would you choose them instead or does the K35 association of the older S.S.C. version worth the extra cost? 🤔 Hopefully my test will help figure that out. 🙏
