Here are a few frames from my recent cover film for @britishvogue on key workers. Was an absolute pleasure to work on this! (2/3) . Something Anisa says in this film has really stuck with me over the past couple of weeks... ‘what we do now is more important than ever’ - a sentence that’s pretty poignant right now and inadvertently addresses more than just the global pandemic. Like most of us I’ve taken a small but necessary time out to reflect and absorb over the past couple of weeks. Of course I knew that racism existed but I’m ashamed to admit how naive I’ve been about its prevalence within our society and film industry, and that I, like most of us, have played a part in not addressing and REALLY attempting to eradicate it until now.
