Through the eyes of celebrated civil rights leader and author Rodney Hurst, our winning #JaxNEXT100 film by @weighedsailor relives Ax Handle Saturday and the bravery of those fighting for a better future. Following its anniversary this past Saturday, watch as Rodney reflects on the events and climate leading up to it, the changes that were implemented afterwards and where we are today.
Last Saturday we closed out #JaxNEXT100 with a bang! Our new collaborative exhibit features 4 artists with their unique perspective through visual arts. If you weren't able to make it, no need to worry! This exhibit will run through October, so you still have a chance to see its beauty. ✨
