here at fawn, we only have private appointments — which means we don’t double-book! so, while your colour is processing, we aren’t rushing to do another client in between. we are probably brainstorming the perfect toner for your hair, while making sure you are rinsed at the perfect time, to ensure your hair stays healthy. we are also probably sitting with our feet up, where the light pours in, getting some vitamin D 🌞, eating & definitely sipping our coffees...taking care of ourselves so that hairstylist burnout is a thing of the past. 💫 business 🧢: we truly wanted to make a change in our industry and this was one of those decisions that we felt was really needed. although, we completely understand why salons do double-book & unfortunately time is money, it’s not something we were willing to trade for our stylists’ overall happiness. by not double-booking, we see approximately 50% of the clients that we could see in a day. while, seeing more clients could be more beneficial financially, that was a choice that the business and our stylists decided wasn’t something we wanted. reasons why: —client experience✨, private appointments ensure that the client is taken care of by their experienced stylist from beginning to end —stylist burnout + exhaustion (we want to be able to be stylists and love our jobs for a realllly long time) —we want our stylists to be able to recharge and be amazing stylists without rushing for quantity tell us how you feel about this as a stylist or a client 🤍 #thefawncollective #hairstylists #kwhairstylists #under5k #womanentrepreneurs #beautyindustry #waterloosalon
