12 days of working in Ghana was the best experience of my professional career so far. From just staying alive in a temperature I’ve never felt on a holiday, let alone carry a trinity through, to the very long days, mild stomach aches, factor 70sunscreen mixed with the mosquito repellant it left me wanting more. Short films are a labour of love for the craft of filmmaking, they are not about money! I love my job and I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and incredibly thankful for all the people around me. I may be a masochist, but the harder the job the better I feel for getting it done. I’ve got so many pictures on my phone but I’ll limit my IG to three posts. This woman was hiding from the scorching midday sun, looking at the crew working on my favourite scene of the whole film. Looking forward to sharing!! #shotoniphone
