Orion Crew Module / Kennedy Space Center / Florida / 2016 The Orion spacecraft and the Space Launch System rocket are scheduled to lift off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida tomorrow morning at 8:33 am EST. The Artimis I test flight will fly by the moon and conduct research that will take us back to the surface of the moon by 2025 and hopefully to Mars by the 2040’s.

I’m honored to have my photograph of the Port of Los Angeles selected as a winner for American Photography 38 both as an individual image and as a magazine cover. American Photography’s annual published book is a record of contemporary photography that I often looked to as a young photographer and I’m grateful to be included again this year, as a slightly less young photographer. Commissioned by @sarinafinkelstein for @barrons in 2021.
