I was very much inspired by the movie Orlando, with the glorious Tilda Swinton based on the book by Virginia Woolf because why not. A fabulous shape shifting gender bending time traveling character. I did a melange of archive Vivienne Westwood with theatre costumes and Runway, my Favorite kind of mix. Incidentally that last shot was my wedding look for a hot second, minus the shirt. I tried on that archive Westwood corset during an early fitting at the atelier and I fell in love but in the end pulled away from that bejewelled buccaneer look. Shame, would have been fabulous.
