what we’re NOT doing this winter:
drying out our (body) skin.
here’s my current rotation🥸
@larocheposayusa lipikar wash *PR
sudsy yet barrier respecting, never leaving me dry. fragrance free
@biodermausa ultra nourishing anti irritation cleansing oil
yuri @thedewiest put me ONNNN to this one.
just read the name!!! they delivered. leaves me SO moisturized. & has a floral scent that makes me feel like im in france.
@naturiumskin the glow getter multi oil body wash
a good middle ground between the lrp & bioderma. still sudsy, but also oil-filled. super slippery—great for shaving, and the vanilla scent always sparks joy.
after-shower care:
@softservices clearing mist *PR
acne calming & smoothing. the tea tree scent is *strong* tho.
@softservices carea cream *PR
likely will be a repurchase. a body cream w BODY to it. extremely nice n filled w all the stuff i want including 10% urea. plus an aluminum bottle!!!
@aquaphorus body spray *PR
⚠️be careful where u spray this⚠️
speaks for itself tho…aquaphor in a spray
@oseamalibu undaria body oil *PR
iykyk. it’s a classic. smoothing asfff & the citrus scent>>>
🥸🥸🥸🥸havent done a post like this in a while…it feels like a lost art 2 me
🤔maybeee you’ll see some video content from me soon, im thinkin abt it (plotting and scheming if u will)
popping in & popping out —to talk abt some fragrances i’ve been loving + mixing together🧙🏻♀️⚗️ to form my current /signature scent/
REPLICA by maison margiela JAZZ CLUB
DedCool FRAGRANCE NUMBER 4
NEST ginger & neroli body mist
🔸🔸🔸
while i love all 3 on their own,
jazz club providing an intriguing rummy sweetness, DedCool’s number 4 serving as a savory earthy, woody, almost salty daytime scent, and NEST’s ginger & neroli bringing some spicy warmth into my life,
i truly love what comes from their 1:1:1 mixture together (1:2:1 when i need a little more jazz club). i suppose sharing this publicly takes away from the individualistic fantasy of having a *signature scent* feeling as if i smell like /no one else/, but idc because i insist on sharing every part of my life i consider beautiful. i’ll get sick of these scents soon enough anyway lmfao. but this is my one post for the next little while, until i feel sufficiently compelled to share something else. thx for reading if u did☮️ all love💌
long time no post :0
been feeling immensely inspired lately after coming back from a depressive period, and i felt like sharing my favorite calming + barrier supportive serums 2day.🧿💝
products *all are PR:
@equalrxn oat milk PHA serum
@cocokind ceramide barrier serum
@goodlight.world we come in peace probiotic serum
@cosrx advanced snail radiance dual essence
let me know songz you’ve been loving lately in the comments🙈
my experience w the YTTP mandelic acid + superfood unity exfoliant (thus far)
*PR $38 USD
🌿STRONG rosemary scent. i don’t mind it but something to note
🌿i love the combination of AHA, BHA, and PHA, although i personally think it may have been a better idea to include a higher % of PHA and a lower % of BHA—2% BHA is a lot!! and 1% PHA is SUPERR mild
🌿this hasn’t caused me any irritation—aside from slight tingling—and has been very effective as an exfoliant in my routine!! i’ve been using it about once a week
🌿i think the packaging is v cute
🗯lmk ur thoughts on this product!!
MY TOP GENTLE CLEANSERS🧼
*all are PR, opinions r my own
-there are tons of gentle cleansers i love, but i wanted to narrow my collection down to 5 favorites depending on ur preferences & skin goals😇
@pacificabeauty vegan ceramide extra gentle facial wash ($10): a newer product w/ cute packaging, a great price, and a super gentle cleansing experience. this is overall my top pick of the bunch for most people.
-fragrance free
@larocheposayusa hydrating gentle cleanser ($15): A CLASSIC. just a super basic, accessible cleanser that won’t dry u out.
-fragrance free
@kinship naked papaya gentle enzyme face cleanser ($22):
another gentle option, but with some added enzymatic exfoliation. imo this is gentle enough to use every day yet v effective!
-smells like an orange creamsicle!!
@tecco.skin VHS cleanser ($19): tecco is an LGBT owned indie brand which i LOVE, the packaging is extremely cute, and this little 4 oz size is nice n portable for travel. of the bunch, this one provides my favorite cleansing experience/feel on the skin, and is my *personal favorite.
-fragrance free yet has a light berry aroma from the blueberry seed oil
@muradskincare clarifying cream cleanser ($36): my top pick for those w acne + dry skin!! it has a cream consistency instead of foaming up like a lot of acne cleansers do, and it has 0.5% salicylic acid to combat acne & clogged pores.
-has a satisfying minty scent
🗯lmk ur thoughts on any of these cleansers if you’ve tried them!! if not, what’s ur personal favorite gentle cleanser?? aaand if you’ve made it this far but don’t know what to comment, lmk how ur september’s been going😊
PR a new bodycare brand i’m vv excited to get into!! i’m obsessed w their brand aesthetic and packaging—the attention to detail is clear.
their main focuses product-wise are skin softening and smoothing, whether that may be combating body acne or KP.
products they sent me:
CLEARING MIST—with salicylic acid, zinc pca, niacinamide, & tea tree oil to target body acne
BUFFING BAR—smooths out KP & ingrown hairs using fine sanding crystals
CAREA CREAM—containing 10% urea along w squalane and colloidal oatmeal, this nourishing cream is made for daily use to hydrate and smooth the skin
🗯have u heard of this brand before? i’ve been following them for the past few months and i could see soft services becoming as popular as other premium bodycare brands like necessaire👀
skincare in heavy rotation😵💫
NO i don’t use all of these in one routine/one day, but this has been the pared down collection of products i pick & choose from depending on how my skin is feeling & how much time/energy i have lol
lmk in the comments if u have any questions abt these products😁 i love all of them!!

🛏these products have been living rent free on my bedside table!!
🍌 @notpot banana OG hemp body créme ($19 *PR): i love a good scented body cream okay sue me! the banana smell is super satisfying and the body cream formula itself is great at nourishing my dry skin. (they also offer a fragrance free version if that isn’t ur thing)
🧴 @slmdskincare super cortisone+ ($15 *PR): it’s always good to have a 1% hydrocortisone ointment/cream on-hand if you deal with eczema, psoriasis, or any other skin condition which causes itchiness and inflammation. this particular product is a bit more expensive than a typical generic/drugstore brand hydrocortisone product, but i don’t really notice a difference in the experience or effectiveness, so i’d just go with whatever’s most accessible.
🍍 @laneige_us lip treatment balm ($25 *PR): y’all know i’m a sucker for a good lip product! this one smells like piña colada and seriously makes my lips feel plumper. idk if i would personally pay for this product, but i’ve definitely been enjoying it! the only thing is if you don’t enjoy menthol in your lip products, skip out on this one.
👄 @lanolips 101 ointment ($17 *PR): YES, another lip product. while the laneige lip treatment balm is what i go for when i want a nice experience, the lanolips 101 ointment is my everyday pick for deep lip nourishment. it truly moisturizes your lips rather than just sitting on top!! the only thing about this one is it’s SO thick that it’s sometimes difficult to squeeze out of the tube lol
