This is my scent of the evening today, I’ve had a very intense and busy day so I needed this warm and cosy vanilla fragrance. Van Cleef & Arpel’s lovely Orchidee Vanille is a cosy, warm, spicy vanilla fragrance. I have to be honest I am not in love with the opening, it’s first after 15-20 minutes that I start enjoying the dry down and then this is a favorite. It does not have a strong silage but that is ok, I use it mostly for layering and that way it gives depth to other fragrances and it also increases its longevity. On me longevity is 5-6 hours on its own, silage 1-2 hours before becoming a skin scent and its discrete. First impression review of Aerin Hibiscus Palm. If any of you follow Jus de Rose on YouTube (which I do), you would know that she has talked and recommended this perfume more than any other in her collection. This fact of course peaked my curiosity and I have been trying out this scent every time I go to this store that has it. I got a discount code yesterday and decided to finally take this one home after testing it out for almost 6 months. It is a summer/holiday fragrance to me personally. It is a tropical floral fragrance with frangipani, ylang-ylang, hibiscus, white flowers, coconut, musk and vanilla. It is a very luxurious smelling tropical fragrance and I really love that the coconut does not take over the scent but that it adds warmth and creaminess to the whole composition. This will be my go-to summer scent until I go back to work. It really triggers memories of my trips to Thailand and Mexico. It is my favorite Aerin fragrance from the 12 I have tested.
