TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF IS PRODUCTIVE 💗 for those of you who weren’t aware; I’ve been in treatment for cancer since 2021 hence why I haven’t posted in forever. Im not in remission yet, but my last treatment went well so I am hoping for the best. I’m currently getting back into the swing of things through my blog so expect to see me active!! Checking in! How is your mental health? I’ve been working really hard lately trying to keep up with bills but I’m feeling extremely overwhelmed with everything happening online right now and I wanted to talk about it a little. Feel free to answer in the comments without reading the next portion! 💓 . TW CSA, trafficking, rape . I’m not saying that what’s happening with Wayfair isn’t true because the truth is that I don’t know. But what I do know is that people who have come forward about child trafficking, child sex abuse, rape, assault etc are not being met with the same level of “credibility”. People are coming forward every day with very real experiences. Please remember that MANY trafficking victims know their trafficker. Whether that be a family member (yes, parents too), family friend, friend, spouse or partner. . I am a CSA and rape survivor and I will continue to educate myself and others on the topic of trafficking. Support trafficking survivors. Support rape survivors. Support child sex abuse survivors. . SIGNS OF TRAFFICKING: * Appearing malnourished * Showing signs of physical injuries and abuse * Avoiding eye contact, social interaction and authority figure/law enforcement * Seeming to adhere to scripted or rehearsed responses in social interaction * Lacking official identification documents * Working excessive, long hours * Living at place of employment * Checking into hotel/motels with older males, and referring to those males as boyfriend or “daddy,” which is often street slang for pimp or John * Poor physical or dental health * Tattoos/branding on the neck and/or lower back * Untreated sexually transmitted diseases * Small children serving in a family restaurant * Security measures that appear to keep people inside an establishment – barbed wire inside of a fence, bars covering the insiders of windows * Not allowing people to go into public alone, or speak for themselves . List by the National Human Trafficking Resource Center and Innocents at Risk.

NO FOOD WILL EVER HURT YOU AS MUCH AS YOUR EATING DISORDER WILL. Sharing this post from 2017 because I want everyone who’s coping with disordered eating to remember this. I’ve been struggling again for a while now and this is one of the mantras that is helping me stay healthy and get through it. 💓✨
