Went back to the park that I ran at on Monday. The run where I felt like someone was pushing against me the whole time. I couldn’t run the whole way. It was awful. Today I did the exact same route and the run was completely different. I ran a minute and a half faster per mile today. The main difference: a huge drop in temp, no humidity and signs of Fall. So I’m here to say, weather makes all the difference. And, yes I know sleep and nutrition play a big role too. I’m excited to get back to where I was after my 2 years of easy running. Seeing progress doesn’t hurt. It’s definitely going to take time but I’m here for it!
