4 weeks ago today we finally got to stop doing everyday life and take a pause. This picture of me represents me at my most relaxed. My shoulders felt light and my mind was quiet. By this point the noise faded to a whisper and I could focus on sun, laughter, sea and total nonsense. To be honest I feel free right now, like walls have crumbled and the world has opened up. I say to people I would go back next week but in reality I’m not supposed to be travelling lots right now because my calling is here, my mission is here and my vision is here and that makes me the happiest. The recharge is welcome for me and for the family and we’ll be recharging again but my potential here excites me. I’m learning every single day that you just have to do it. I brought this here because this video means so much to me. I have watched it over and over and marvelled at our two young boys. When I posted this on stories I had messages from strangers highlighting what was under the surface (no pun intended) and what it demonstrated to them about us as parents and me as a father. This is a pivotal moment in my fatherhood journey. A tangible moment. One where I can actively see the trust and safety they place in me. One where I have demonstrated and they have independently made the decision to follow.
