Nova Ukraine continues to procure and deliver medical aid to Ukraine. Thanks to the efforts of our medical team, 20 Philips portable ventilators were delivered to various hospitals in Ukraine, including the ones located in Zaporyzzya, Kharkiv, Ternopyl, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
Just like with the recently delivered digital, portable X-ray machines, this purchase was made possible with some of the funds allocated via a generous grant from Pioneer Natural Resources, the Texas-based oil and gas exploration and production company. Also, many thanks to our Ukrainian partner, @zdorovi.agency, for helping us determine which medical facilities are in the most need.

Unfortunately there are people who take advantage of the kindness of others and try to collect money on behalf of non-profit organizations. Typically noone from Nova Ukraine will reach out to you via FB or INSTA messenger to solicit donations. If you have someone reaching out to you with such a request (this happened to our volunteer after he donated to legitimate FB fundraisers), this may be an impersonator. They may ask to donate via Amazon eGiftCard with recipient [email protected] or something similar.
Let the person who is being impersonated know via different means of communication (another Social Media profile, text message or phone) that they have been impersonated. The person who is being impersonated should inform their social circles about a possible impersonator contact. Collect information on the impersonator and report their profile:
1. Go to the profile you want to report.
2. In the bottom right of the cover photo, click and select “Report” in INSTA, "Something Wrong" in the FB mobile app or "Find Support or Report" on FB desktop.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions (choose “pretending to be someone”).
Thank you for your support!

Charitable fund @_blago_dary_ is dedicated to helping the most vulnerable Ukrainians - sick newborns, particularly orphans. After the Russian invasion, this tremendously complex undertaking became even more challenging. Air raid alerts interrupt the work of doctors and nurses, damage hospitals, and affect those who are in treatment. These are very few new hardships these tiny patients have to endure. Nova Ukraine is proud to support clinics and volunteers working hard to give these babies what every child deserves - a healthy life. Thanks to donors like you, Благо дарую (Blago daruyu) can purchase medicines, hygiene, and disposables for medical equipment.

Nova Ukraine purchased 400 pairs of Black Fighter shoes for the State Emergency Service in Kyiv. Perfect for firefighter and intervention units anywhere in the world, the Black Fighter is a high-top safety shoe with a leather upper and a Michelin rubber sole. Amazingly, it can withstand temperatures of up to 300C degrees (572F).
Special thanks to Kadimex - a Poland-based company that specializes in safety and first-responder outfitting and equipment and Mr. Marcin Jakubowski — we are extremely lucky to have partners who care about our heroes as much as we do!

A new school year begins in Ukraine on September 1, but thousands of children won't be able to join their friends in the classrooms today. According to UNICEF, as of 31 July 2022, an estimated 650,000 Ukrainian children living as refugees in 12 host countries. Hundreds of them were welcomed in the USA, where together with their families they found temporary homes and enrolled in online schooling. Help Ukrainian children start the new school year with the necessary equipment - donate your old electronics 🙏
These photos show one of the regular evacuations jointly organized by 5 volunteer organizations. Some of them are our long-term partners. A dam bordering the occupied territory is located in the settlement of Pechenihy, Kharkiv region. People from the occupied parts of Kharkiv and Luhansk regions cross it to the controlled territory of Ukraine. This road across the dam is sometimes called the "road of life", it is not an official green corridor. The settlement is often shelled by Russian artillery, so this road is quite dangerous. Volunteers drive to the narrow dam in cars, walk almost a kilometer to the occupied territory and pick up people. On our, Ukrainian side of the dam people get into cars that take them to the check points. After that, they can get to Kharkiv on big buses organized by the authorities. Nova Ukraine provides fuel and car repairs to representatives of this evacuation volunteer union. Evacuation from Pechenihy is carried out 1 or 2 times a week, they manage to evacuate an average of 800-1,700 people at a time. More than 50 volunteers are involved.

All money raised will go to humanitarian aid, including securing critical medical supplies, food delivery, and assistance to displaced families.

Our evacuation partner @Helppeople.uk Help People has added an important route: Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia. This eastern city has been occupied since the early days of the war. In Melitopol and the villages surrounding it, severe shortage of food, gas and drinking water are ongoing. Due to occupation, the only other evacuation route out of Melitopol is through Crimea and into Russian territory.

Despite the fierce battles for Bakhmut, there are still many people and animals who live there and need help. Today 400 kg of animal food was brought to Bakhmut and surrounding areas and 14 animals were evacuated. At the entrance to the city the soldiers who helped with the evacuation were greeted by the local resident who recently lost his son to war. The man was wearing an embroidered shirt and handed out cakes, watermelons and cold water. That’s all you need to know about the spirit of the city residents. Thank you @animal.rescue.kharkiv for handling this complex project.
