Photo Challenge #448: Can you make a photograph about something you really want to show me or share with me while I am here
· From mom, Treasures! Perfect question, here’s Nigel looking at a box of trinkets that we had planned to give her. She spent about an hour looking at each one and they brought back really interesting memories. I’m so grateful, bye, love, mom
· From dad, Milwaukee Art Museum a surprise in the box just for you
Out to lunch, looks like everyone in my family has the same habit of “worrying” their paper products, which makes nice source material for little paper sculptures
Photo Challenge #447: I know you usually make your repones to the challenges first thing, but today you are going to have to hold off because I am asking you to wait until we get back and make a photograph about our evening together
· From mom, I waited all day and finally they arrived, here we are on the back porch looking at the sun, having snacks they brought all the way from North Adams. We are all just enjoying ourselves, it’s very special. Love, mom
· From dad, finally, a get together. Earlonne, me and Nigel, wow, what an extraordinary event. The number of permutations in lives that resulted in this meeting are mind boggling
Photo Challenge #446 Can you find an intriguing object in your backyard to photograph
· From mom, here is a stump of an old tree and look what’s growing on it. An exotic looking mushrooms, no to be eaten but to be appreciated for its drama. Good question Nigel. love you, mommy
· From dad, A Gift from the Winthrop Arbor Association to replace an injured maple tree
Photo Challenge #4: I’m fighting a little bit of a cold, can you make a photograph of a home remedy
· From mom, sleep dear Nigel, the best thing in the world to recover is sleep, cuddle down and sleep. When you get back here, I want you to sleep it’s the most healing thing we have. Love, mom
· From dad, medicine for all occasions. I remember as a child if I had a toothache my mom would take a cloth, pin tie felt on the end of it, dip it in whiskey and I could bite down on it. Now when I have a cold & I am feeling lousy, I pour myself an ounce, hop in bed with a good book (maybe another ounce) next thing I know the book will be on my lap.
