Quad Senior Officials Meeting held on 5-6 Sep 2022 in New Delhi. Senior Officials from the Foreign Ministries of Australia, India, Japan and USA discussed regional & global developments, reaffirming their vision for a free, open & inclusive Indo-Pacific. They also reviewed ongoing cooperation and progress of initiatives announced under the Quad Framework.

India has extended nearly USD 9.5 billion to Bangladesh in concessional loans and is taking up several connectivity projects. A quick look at: 1️⃣Khulna-Darshana railway line project 2️⃣Parbatipur-Kaunia railway line project 3️⃣Supply of road construction equipment & machinery

Powering the India-Bangladesh partnership! PM @narendramodi and PM Sheikh Hasina jointly unveiled Unit-I of the Maitree Super Thermal Power Project. Being constructed under India’s concessional financing scheme, the Project will add 1320 MW to Bangladesh’s National Grid.
