🇨🇺 ¡Hasta la victoria siempre! 🇨🇺 July 26 is a momentous date in Cuba deeply symbolic of the struggle and ultimate victory of the revolution. 69 years ago #OnThisDay, Fidel Castro and other revolutionaries led an attack on the Batista regime's Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba. The result was military defeat but political victory. Out of the ashes of the Moncada assault, a new revolutionary organization with new leadership emerged, dubbed the 26th of July Movement.
