Do you get overwhelmed or so busy when you’re at work & forget to eat, drink water, go pee or even simply just breathe?! One thing I have implemented in the salon is to take a breather in the middle of the day no matter how busy we are. We walk outside even if it’s just for a few minutes & take turns having a moment of gratitude on 3 things we are grateful for that day. This may seem like an effortless copper transformation but if you swipe to the right you’ll see the artistry & knowledge it takes to take on a challenge like this one. She had 1” of natural regrowth level 7 & downward bands of colored dark brown box har. It’s always much more difficult correcting color with a lighter base because the precision needs to be aligned perfectly to extract all of the artificial color. It’s def not impossible but a challenge to its core. Within our consultation I told her it may take more than 1 session to match her natural level so instead of going against her hair we will work with it adding back a Demi deeper root for a natural flow until her next session. Having a thorough consultation with a PLAN B is always a must to not only make you look like the true professional that you are but set you up for success! I didn’t realize what day today was…. & honestly I totally should of!! How could I not know this day?! But maybe it’s something I like to block out….could you not blame me? This is the day my brother died. He was my closest sibling & someone we both felt heard & understood by each other in our strict, religious & wanting nothing more then to rebel upbringing. 3 hears ago YURI died & a piece of me did too. 💔 He opened my eyes to music I will forever listen too & Queen was one of them. Every now & then his favorite song comes on randomly at the moments that feel so necessary & special. It’s like he talks to me through his music all the time! It’s been a good minute since I’ve actually heard his song nor have talked about him, when randomly his song came on today. (I don’t have it saved in my playlist for a reason so when it comes on it feels like it was meant to be) Today I posted his song on my stories & a few minutes later my mom sent me this text. It all made sense…he was saying hello on his 3 year anniversary. You might think it’s a coincidence but if you truly knew him you would think otherwise. Anyways just wanted to share my deepest thoughts with you all & my sincerest love & deepest condolences goes to anyone that has loved a lost one. ❤️ R.I.P. YURI

People ask me how I come up with new inspiration & my answer is always the same…traveling. I love to walk around & take photos of my surroundings. Inspiration can come from textures, different mix of colors, nature & combination of tones you don’t necessarily think will compliment each other yet beautifully do.
