I’ve been a ballroom enthusiast for years but I’ve never properly trained in the style and when I got the Viennese Waltz, I was both extremely excited and extremely nervous all at once. Unfortunately, I got bronchitis and had to isolate for a few days during this week. Sooooo I had to have an even more intense crash course than normal for the show. I learned this number on zoom and then had three hours with my INCREDIBLE partner the day before the show to perfect it. Emma & Sasha had so much faith in me, but I’m not going to lie, I was stressed!! They provided such a safe space and I truly learned so much from them in such a small amount of time. Thank you @theemmaslater & @sashafarber1 for this beautiful & emotional piece and for trusting Beau and I to pull it off in one day! Also HUGE thank you to @koko_iwasaki for all your help and for stepping in! You’re amazing🫶🏻 BEAU, I love you so much!! You are the definition of not only an incredible & loyal partner but a beautiful & kind human. You were there for me during this entire process and truly led me through this dance. I’m so proud of you and thankful to have had you beside me during my last dance! Keep killing the game, you’re a gem! @beauharmon_ I’m so proud of this piece and grateful to have ended my journey with @danceonfox on this note.
