The last time I hung out with my dear brother and college housemate (we were the art school equivalent of Delta House in Animal House for all of Philly, basically), Danny was seeing H.R. of Bad Brains here in my town like 12 years ago. Today we will be tailgating at the Chili Peppers show. The older I get, the more I appreciate the brotherhoods formed in my younger years from grade school to Russia that are like adamantium and timeless. Grateful for the gift of these deep friendships, all of which I sorely tested more than once. The RHCP were part of our core along with Fugazi, Shinehead, Firehose, the Dead, Bad Brains, and more.
