Throughout my career, I have admired a lot of people, and respected senior Kenneth K. Tsang was one of them. His image, acting skills, respect and professionalism has earned him the status as an ‘evergreen tree’ in the industry (i.e. making regular appearances on film and tv), and was also an amazing role model for us juniors to learn from. I was so shocked after hearing the news, and deeply saddened.
We’ll miss him. Rest In Peace! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I received some shocking news today on Ching Ming Festival, Jimmy Wang Yu had passed away. Another martial arts hero has left us…. the contributions you’ve made to kung fu movies and the support and wisdom you’ve given to the younger generations will always be remembered in the industry. And your movies will always remain in the hearts of your fans. We will miss you! Rest In Peace 🙏🙏🙏🏻
I remember him once saying, “Anyone, no matter how wealthy you were yesterday, no matter how defeated you were yesterday, when you wake up the next morning, you must continue to be a person and keep on living. Tomorrow will always be better than yesterday. That’s life“. We, as juniors, will always remember your words. May you rest in peace. 🙏🏻
While watching the China Winter Olympics team on TV enter the stadium with everyone singing “Ode to the Motherland” 《歌唱祖國》, I also began to sing along in front of the TV. Such a proud and honorary moment! A big salute to director Zhang Yimou and to all the staff of the opening ceremony, you guys are amazing!

It’s that time of year again and I’ve received so many messages and well wishes. I’d like to say a heartfelt “thank you” to all my friends and fans from all over the world for your warm birthday wishes! Last year, everything was put to a halt because of COVID-19 and luckily, things are starting to get back to normal again. A lot of people have been asking me about the back pain that I had earlier on. I just want to let everyone know, don’t worry! I’m feeling a lot better now. I went to visit the JC Stunt Team Training Centre today to do some preparation and training for my next movie. Honestly for me, working on my birthday is like giving my birthday the biggest respect ever. Ha ha! Especially after thinking about the days when I stopped working because of the pandemic, being able to start work again is considered very fortunate. I also hope everyone will appreciate these fortunate and encouraging times. Thanks again for all your birthday messages! Wishing everyone peace, happiness, and good health!
