Hi, friends. In the Scottlight today: “Welcome to the Seisiun,” which was my band’s closer. Whether it was our second set at a bar gig or our festival set, this one pulled it all together and pretty well defined Bangers and Mash. It always got the folks goin’, too! We recorded it for BAM’s first album with a live audience in the studio to give it an authentic feel. We always played it at hyper speed; but I dialed the verse down to let Brenda Washburn’s picture perfect lyrics—and, full disclosure, to let me—breathe a bit. I hope you like it!
