Throughout the month of June and beyond, we’re celebrating Pride. To honor the 52nd anniversary of #PrideMonth, we spoke with Elektra Williams (she/they), an analyst at @thefitchgroup and global treasury chairperson and Americas external engagement chairperson of Fitch’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group Fitch Pride Network (FPN), to talk about pride and allyship. “To me, pride means ‘queer joy.’ When I feel proud, I think of my partner, my community and the allies in my life who have not wavered in supporting me. I feel joy knowing that I am being honest with myself and with the people around me. When I’m proud, I feel safe and happy.” Read their story at the #linkinbio. #HearstRISE
