The final look from the #DiorSpring23 capsule collection by @MrKimJones, guest designed by @ERL__________, walked the runway as a perfect echo of the opening ensemble. The white suit with curved hat - inspired by the shape of the Pan Pacific Auditorium, a part of L.A.'s history - was the culmination of the capsule, capturing the tailoring expertise of the House, and providing a crisp endnote to the colorful collection from California. Signature @ERL__________ styles, including his beloved Wave Pattern, shimmery degradé knits, and the upcycled blanket-as-coat, meet the house's savoir-faire in the #DiorSpring23 collection from @MrKimJones and the guest designer. The results of their combined vision are laid-back, intricately crafted, and singularly Californian.  #DiorERL

The highlights of the #DiorSpring23 capsule collection by @MrKimJones and guest designed by @ERL__________ include reinterpretations of archival Dior pieces. First is the Cannage — the emblematic motif of the House — which adds depth and dimension throughout the collection on pants coats, and the #DiorSaddle. Kim Jones was also inspired by the newspaper print motif created by John Galliano, and reimagined it on shorts and tees.  #DiorERL

California is known for its hiking trails, ski slopes, skate parks, and surfable waves. For the #DiorSpring23 capsule collection by @MrKimJones, it was only natural that guest designer @ERL__________ incorporated sportswear influences into the capsule. Here, elegance meets roomy jeans, ski-inspired chevron sweaters, far out prints, and puffer coats. #DiorERL

For #DiorSpring23, @MrKimJones focused on California — a state that made an indelible impression on Christian Dior when he visited the United States in 1957. To create a collection that pays homage to the West Coast way of living, the Artistic Director of men’s collections tapped @EliRussellLinnetz as guest designer; a photographer, director, designer and Venice Beach native, whose eponymous line, @ERL__________ offers a colorful take on American sportswear. The resulting dialogue between the two designers combines the soft pastel shades of the L.A. landscape with board sports, and the fundamental codes of Dior.  #DiorERL

Channeling the California spirit, yesterday’s #DiorSpring23 show by @MrKimJones in Venice Beach was guest designed by LA-native @ERL__________. The opening look of the show - a gray suit, whimsically inverted with the label and CD-patterned pocket facing out, set the tone for the collection, which combines the laid-back SoCal aesthetic with the House’s signature codes.  #DiorERL
