Climate change is a disability rights issue 🌡 heatwaves can be extremely tough on chronically ill people
I asked how fellow spoonies (mostly people with ME/CFS or Long Covid) were affected by the heat.
Climate change doesn’t affect us all equally. It is now undeniable that we are feeling the effects in the UK and Europe, but the crisis has been raging in the Global South and most affected areas for much longer.
Intersectional climate justice means understanding that different intersections such as race, disability, gender, class alter how people are affected by the crisis.
Sending love to everyone struggling 🥵❤️🔥
