This stunning hybrid is breathtaking.
Paphiopedilum terminate growth once they flower. The main plant dies and will grow a new pup or two for the next time it flowers. The cycle continues and the plant therefore takes a very long time to get to a considerable size.
I do feel like I have ambitions for every pant and mine for this one is to have multiple plants and multiple flower spikes (3-5) at once to accomplish that goal. I suspect 3 to 5 years perhaps of GOOD growing conditions. Fingers crossed.
