Rho Ophiuchi Cloud. Finally… finally I got a decent image of this area using a combination of Pixinsight, Photoshop and Lightroom. I find this area quite tricky in terms of post processing especially when you try to make all these dust clouds pop. I took this image when the object was in the overhead position in the southern sky. This point should be theoretically the darkest point, no light pollution, no airglow, no other atmospheric phenomena that are typical for the sky near to horizon.
