Repost from @rebeccataylorhair • For this color correction a while back I used 20 vol on her regrowth and 10 vol on the brassy band (and NO bleach on her fragile ends) because of my experience with the lightener I was using at the time (and the lift I was accustomed to/the timing/etc). Since I’ve been using the @f18hair lightener…if I had this type of color correction now. I would absolutely only be using 10 volume on her regrowth and 5 volume on that band….and I’d get the same lift and from my recent experience, in less time. For the toning technique here…I used a teardrop technique. Leaving out a hefty front hairline halo section. I used one formula, a beige-y platinum 1:1:1 9V, 9N, 9GI. Toned the whole back area for 15 minutes and finally the front for the last 5 with the same formula.
