From London, we warmly welcome AVIVSON GALLERY @avivsongallery to the #DiscoveryArtFair in #Frankfurt 2022. The gallery was founded in 1987 by Janus Avivson, who has been active as an exhibition organiser and art collector since 1967. Known for its political exhibitions and progressive attitude, the gallery operates internationally and presents contemporary art and artists from all over the world. Janus Avivson is based in Hampstead, North West London. At present he runs his gallery and book and art collection with his wife, Katarzyna. Among others, the programme features artist @joanna_gilbert_artist. She graduated in 2018 with a Masters in Fine Art from UAL Chelsea College of Arts (@chelseaual) where she was awarded a distinction for her ‘NOTHING TO BUY’ body of work. It was during her Masters and reaching some of the lowest points of her life, she found an invincible strength within her. Her bold, large-scale abstract works show freedom in all its forms, endless potential and limitless thinking.
