This is the best time of the year! 🤩 All veggies are growing rapidly and we have had beautiful mornings of full sunshine. 🌞 The team, volunteers, students and members of the wellbeing group have been working together on different gardening and maintenance tasks – they have protected beds that we will use in a few weeks, spreaded natural fertiliser, weeded, watered, sowed radishes, onions, carrots and beetroot, planted nasturtiums, helped us to fix structures/facilities and many other jobs! We also have started to offer veg boxes so volunteers have been trained on harvesting, selecting and making veg boxes. 💪 Working together while sharing, inspiring and helping communities is so rewarding. We all experience the benefits of social connection, physical activity and team work every day.
