2021 Results: The coupe sedans, or what I call the Sport sedans from the E-Segment recorded sales of 297,000 units, almost doubling the volume posted in 2020. The strong results were possible thanks to the BYD Han and Xpeng P7, two Chinese advanced sedans that continued to gain traction in China. Porsche also registered a strong growth thanks to the Taycan sedan, while Tesla, BMW and Mercedes struggled. China counted for 71% of the global demand.
