Shooting down from above but don’t have a drone? Before drones, I climbed a lot of parking lot stairs or I rented a commercial truck with a boom and a bucket or a very tall ladder or in a few cases, I would spend the really big bucks and shoot from a rented helicopter. One such outing took me over the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney Australia where I photographed hundreds of people that were spending their Saturday afternoon working on their tans.
