Is that a butterfly?🦋 👉Butterfly nebula is a bipolar planetary nebula located about 4,000 lightyears away in the Scorpion (Scorpius) constellation. It's wingspan covers over 3 light-years. 👉The nebula has a very complex structer. It's central star is one of the hottest known stars with a surface temperature in excess of 250,000 degrees Celsius. It means that the originating star must have been massive. 🌟The central star is encapsuled by a dense equatorial disc of gas and dust. Thus the shining bright nebula is hidden from direct view. The disc may have caused the star to ouflow and form the wings or the hourglass shape. The Windmill and the Star Trails🌟 📌The nightscape is combination of 39 sequential exposures taken at Garafia, on the island of La Palma, Canary Islands. 👉The center of the windmill is aligned with the north celestial pole.
