getting ready to board my flight home from my first ever business trip! . Being in Vancouver for the past few days has been fantastic! I got to catch up with a good friend, eat some great food and and explore the city! Meeting my team in person was great after on-boarding remotely a few weeks back! It’s been fun to travel again and I got to stay in a beautiful hotel too! But now that I’m in the airport I’m just itching to get back to little Babe. Apparently she’s been a good girl and it looks like she’s had a ton of fun with my friend. I’m so lucky to have people I trust for her to hang out with when I’m away! We have a super quick turn around and leave for Ottawa tonight Tuesday! Babe will be heading to @thedogparc to be reunited with Sonny & his pack! She loves being there and it’s always good for her to get a little manners tune up too 😉 I’ll be headed to Ottawa to braid for the Trillium Championship Horseshow. I’ll show lots of braiding content cause I know the people love that for some reason 🤣 I can’t wait to get back to adventuring in September. While I love the busy-ness of summer, it’s also a lot. adding a screened-in porch to the list of things I need to buy for my dog . We are up North in Collingwood this weekend and this has to be one of Babe’s favourite spots to relax up here. Comfy chair, fresh air, and getting to watch everyone walking down the street. I’m sitting out here with her, enjoying my tea and watching the sun start to come out and shine on the ski hill. It’s a beautiful weekend with amazing weather and I’m glad we came up here to recharge a bit before the rest of our busy summer continues. Babe has been super, aside from getting into Denver’s container of food last night (which she’s pretty allergic to). I gave her a Benadryl and she seems to be ok aside from some itchiness 🙈 We will probably hit up sidelaunch at lunch and stop by the beach at some point!
