My first job at 16 was Chinese food delivery driver, but I kept the dream alive… My second job was a drive-thru convenience store cashier, but I kept the dream alive… My third and fourth job was a Six Flags ride operator and JC Penney associate, but I kept the dream alive. I failed an three engineering courses in college, one of them twice, but I kept the dream alive… I had my first internship on my 5th year of college, but I kept the dream alive… I established a research organization and graduated in my sixth year of college with a 2.5 GPA, but I kept the dream alive… I experienced one year of work at NASA, before personal challenges would end it, but I kept the dream alive… For the next five years, I relearned about my self and tackle challenges along the way. I had to start over with barely anything, but I kept the dream alive… I went to graduate school, graduated with two Masters Degrees and combined 3.4 GPA. I was part of a few research papers, one of which I was a lead author, but I kept the dream alive… With determination and persistence, I applied to many, many jobs. I tutored children and young adults in science, mathematics, and engineering. I was an Uber driver for while to support myself, but I kept the dream alive… Now, I am a spacecraft engineer at NASA, and I STILL keep the dream alive.
