M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy
This started out as me just doing a test run on Andromeda since I wasn’t sure what else to shoot in broadband and thought I’d pick up some data to start a project on this galaxy as it’s one of my goals for this year. But, clouds rolled in while I was snoozing and the guiding got screwed up so the framing ended up being off but I figured since it’s going to be cloudy for awhile, I’d go ahead and process it and see what I had.
I don’t usually post the failures but here’s a failure! This is not very much exposure time at all, I’ll likely need 8-10 hours to get what I hope to achieve, if not more. Just trying to make the best of what I have and I have high hopes for getting a really nice image of this before the summers over.
