*Going out isn’t possible for many Disabled people (myself included most of the time) and it isn’t necessarily required to ‘have a life’ but the people saying this definitely think it is.

“You’re just making excuses.” - I don’t believe that you know your own limitations so I won’t honour them.
“It’s so good too see people like you out!” - I don’t think disabled people have lives.*
“OMG aren’t you special!” - I see you like a child or a puppy.
