new film for @c4randomacts, Everything Feels Like Water is out today! go check it out on my website in my bio :) based on a poem by Theresa Lola and directed by Jolade Olusanya, the film follows a young woman in search of a superpower against her anxiety. . shot in an afternoon on fs7 and vintage nikons with a minimal (but brilliant) run and gun crew, i wanted to try to make the apartment feel cold, isolated and in stark contrast to the high key park exteriors, to put across visually the difficulty of the experience taking place. whilst in the park, all the photography is centred around our lead, using slow motion and shallow DoF to pick her out and further isolate her from the her surroundings and companions in the story. a visceral poem that has a strong message. i hope i did the visual compliment to it justice. it felt good to shoot a film on an important topic that should be discussed more; it’s something i’d like to do more of. respect to the all of the directors, writers and filmmakers who are making films about these things now. 👊 some teaser clips at the end and a fun lil cooked up on-the-day practical fx comp for some indoor rain! ☔️ full film in my bio ✨ written by Theresa Lola / @theresa_lola Directed by @JoladeO_ Cinematographer – @orlandoomahoney Produced by – @blakes_daddy / @frmwrkldn Gaffer – @christopher_longdop Original Music by @kentekwame Sound Engineer - @LexAmor_ Production company credit: @rxninco
